Overlooking the Goyt Valley in North West England in the Greater Manchester area, Bredbury Hall Hotel is nestled within seven acres of landscaped gardens. WIthin the hotel, there is a Brasserie, as well as the Artisan Indian Kitchen. On this visit however, we decided to partake in some Afternoon Tea.
The staff were so lovely – they really couldn’t do enough to help. After hearing about the Afternoon Tea options available, we decided to go for the traditional one, which consisted of homemade finger sandwiches on wholemeal and white bread, freshly baked scones, strawberry jam and cream, with a variety of mini desserts, including carrot cake, dark chocolate brownie and profiteroles. Not forgetting the pot of tea to accompany it.
Everything was delicious. The sandwiches and cakes were as fresh as can be, and everything just oozed flavour. We had a really enjoyable, decadent couple of hours.
A perfect place to escape to. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
