Oddfellows On The Park hotel, set in the vast grounds of Bruntwood Park, Cheadle, in a beautiful Victorian mansion, amongst acres of picturesque farmland.
We had already sampled the amazing food this restaurant serves of an evening, but we decided to come back in the afternoon, to try their Afternoon Tea. The place was as stunning as we remembered, and the staff just as friendly.
On the menu, there is the option of a traditional Afternoon Tea, or that of a savoury one. We opted for the savoury, which included ham & pickle sandwiches, venison sausage rolls, fish finger brioche with mushy peas, avocado & smoked salmon tartlets, blue cheese scones and tomato & basil Macaroons. There is also a large selection of teas to choose from, or you could go for a prosecco or champagne option. We chose to have Chai tea with ours.
Everything was beautifully presented, and tasted even better. The macaroons were out of this world.
You really must try this place.
