Amalia is a gorgeous Italian restaurant, situated in Duke Street, in Liverpool city centre. ‘Amalia’ translated means ‘industrious and hardworking’, which the restaurant say “reflects in their work, food and presentation.”
The setting is contemporary, its decor elegant and the ambience is one of comfort and relaxation. We found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and eager to please on our visit.
To begin our order, we chose some olives and garlic bread with cheese, which were absolutely delicious.
For our mains, we got Ravioli Al Safferano E Gamberoni (prawns with sundried tomato ravioli, in a white wine and saffron cream sauce, with parmesan) and the Pollo Con Verdure Insalata (grilled chicken breast, sauteed with aubergines, courgettes, peppers, cherry tomatoes and mixed lettuce.) Both meals were delicious. The prawns were cooked to perfection, and the flavours in the chicken dish were divine.
A must try for all Italian food lovers.
