The LS1 Bar & Kitchen can be found in the Crown Plaza Leeds, in Wellington Street, Leeds City Centre.
They have recently introduced a new menu, thanks to their new head chef, which offers a host of British classics with a contemporary Yorkshire twist. It’s versatile, and features home-style recipes, grill specialities, as well as a selection of lighter options for diners just looking for a quick bite.
The only issue we had on our visit was what to choose to eat, because it all looked so good.
To start, we couldn’t resist trying the Rip and Share Yorkshire Pudding & Marrowbone Gravy. It didn’t disappoint. For our mains, we ordered Buttered Chicken Curry (tender chicken breast slow cooked in a creamy spiced butter sauce, Basmati rice, mango chutney & naan bread) and Pasta Linguine (roasted garlic, sundried tomatoes, basil oil & lightly dusted with parmesan cheese.)
The food was out of this world. The presentation was outstanding and it tasted incredible too. The flavours in all dishes were spot on.
