The Blue Tiffin Indian restaurant in Oldham is a favourite with the locals for Indian cuisine.
It wasn’t long before we knew why.
To start, the ambience was one of warmth. We were presented with the menu, for which Blue Tiffin have won awards. Their combination of the more traditional Indian dishes such as Biryani, Korai and Rogan Josh, with their own signature dishes like Chicken & Keema Chittagong, King Prawn Gurkali and the Blue Tiffin Thawa, are just a couple of reasons why.
We ordered a starter of sheek kebab and vegetable samosa. Both were divine, leaving us excited for our mains, where we decided to both go for a signature dish. The Lamb Tikka Naga Jalfry – a hot and fiery dish cooked with Bangladeshi chilies, garlic, and a mix of hot spices (delicious, but not for the faint hearted) and Chingri Khodu – king prawns with butternut squash, in a medium strength sauce. Wow. Unbelievable flavours in everything we tasted.
A must go to for any Indian food lover.
